GT (Mines): B.E/B.Tech in Mining Engineering

GT (Mechanical): B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

GT (Electrical): B.E/B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Power Engineering

GT (Chemical): B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

MT (Geology): Postgraduate degree in Geology or Applied Geology

MT (Materials / Contract Management): Engineering Degree or MBA/PG Diploma in relevant field

MT (Systems): B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science / IT or MCA

Age Relaxation Rules

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years

SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years

PwBD Candidates: Up to 15 Years

Ex-Servicemen: Service duration plus 3 Years

The maximum age after availing all relaxations shall not exceed 53 years.

MOIL Selection Process 2026

The recruitment process will be conducted in multiple stages to ensure fair selection:

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

Duration: 90 Minutes

Mode: Objective Type (MCQs)

Medium: English & Hindi

General Awareness: 10 Marks

Reasoning Ability: 10 Marks

English Language: 10 Marks

Technical / Subject Knowledge: 55 Marks

Stage 2: Personal Interview

Interview Marks: 15

Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:6 ratio based on CBT performance.

The final selection will be based on combined scores of CBT and Interview.

MOIL Application Fee Structure

General / EWS / OBC: ₹590 (Including GST)

SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen / MOIL Employees: No Fee

The fee must be paid online. Once submitted, the fee will not be refunded.

MOIL Pay Scale and Benefits

During Training (E-01 Grade): ₹40,000 Basic Pay

After Training (E-02 Grade): ₹50,000 Basic Pay

Maximum Salary: Up to ₹1,60,000

Employees will also receive additional benefits such as DA, HRA, medical facilities, leave benefits, retirement perks, and other allowances as per MOIL policies.
